Biography
Fynahya's mother had taken her leave from their clan's main settlement in order to find a new and quieter life in the small fishing village of Akyaali. Now among more than the women and children of the Chelewae clan, Xafeh could do as she fully pleased and settle down with a mate of her choosing. A young Hyur man had caught her interest for a brief moment, thinking that he could be the one for her. After a short time, the man left on a fishing venture, only to be lost to the waves.Fynahya's mother has never once spoken his name, in hopes that he would someday return to the two of them. From the time that Fyna could walk and understand, her mother taught her a dance to perform on the coast as an offering to the sea to bring her father back to them.Upon her twelfth birthday, Fyna began to show great interest in the arcane arts, showing an aptitude for the arts of black magic. Xafeh took this opportunity to journey to the beautiful city of Radz-at-han to find Fynahya a tutor.After several hard years of schooling with a gentleman from Sharlyan, Fynahya had a much better understanding on how to manipulate aether and quite a few white magic spells most thaumatuges could not cast.Graduating from her schooling at eighteen, Fynahya stayed in her home village for a time, assisting in defending it from wild beasts and practicing along the coast, manipulating water and fire to create shrouds of mist wherever she would practice. Her doing so gave way to small tales of a Witch of the Mists who would sweep away misbehaving children and sink ships that were not properly blessed.
A few years had passed, and she grew tired of the rather... dull life she lived in Akyaali. Seeking out a sailor in Yedlihmad, Fynahya began to set out on her own to explore the world as she wished. She still returns home to visit her mother to this day.
